This is the only manual I was able to find (in italian): http://www.sendspace.com/file/4l9pae

If I will buy it, is there any test I should do for you, guys ?

Do you think it can be attached to another TV set different from LG uaing only the HDMI cable or the wireless control port is necessary ?

And... the USB port is there... what about that small serial connector ? I can try to do some tests with it with the proper cable... where to find one ?

Bought !

It will arrive in 7-10 days.

I am trying to build the cable but I don't know if I have to invert the RX with the TX... anyway I will try both combinations

This should be the schematics (page of the official user manual about 3 wire-non-standard serial connection):

(this picture refers to a female connector from solder side; insted, facing the connector, pin1 it's in the upper-right corner, like this: ).
This is the audio jack pinout (pin2 = tip, pin3 = ring):

Do you think that I should try the same tv method to connect to this device ?

It's the same used in transfer pictures in ?old? Panasonic/JVC/Thomson/Grundig camcorders (and to enable hidden functions).

Serial pin1 is not used, maybe different cable (there are also serial cable with pin7, but I think this, mine, is the most "standardized serial jack" pinout).

From page 149 of the manual:

This is the Samsung serial cable pinout:

so maybe yes, it is the same cable; probably 1,2 and 3 in your pictures are not referred to serial pins.

Just received the Wireless Kit and I was able to connect to it at 9600bps using this homemade Serial-RCA cable:

It should be clear how to easely build one:

PIN 2 (brown wire in my cable) = RING
PIN 3 (red wire in my cable) = TIP
PIN 5 (yellow wire in my cable) = GROUND (connected to the RCA external metal shield)
NO CONNECTION on the proximal jack ring.

I was able to send some commands (unfortunetely no dumps) but then my old laptop inesorably died... I think the HDD crashed... I will try to resume it as soon as I can but I think that it is gone for now :( so tonight no test with my friend SL8000 I suppose :( :(
